The organisation protects natural areas, promotes environmentally responsible practices and supports regional transition. It mobilises citizens and local stakeholders around practical conservation initiatives.
Our support
In 2025, the FDD supported the Mer-Cime project, a journey from the sea to the glacier designed to raise awareness of the effects of climate change. It also supported the Vertical Challenge, which enabled a pair of climbers to scale the north face of the Grandes Jorasses and use this media spotlight to draw attention to the consequences of global warming.
