Les 42 uses endurance running as a means of building confidence and helping young people who have dropped out of school or are struggling in the workplace to reintegrate into society.
Les 42 uses endurance running as a means of building confidence and supporting the integration of young people who have dropped out of school or are struggling in the workplace. The programme works collectively to prepare participants to take on a demanding challenge. This sporting adventure fosters perseverance, camaraderie and a sense of hope for the future.
Our support
The FDD has been supporting Les 42 since 2023: helping young people prepare for and take part in the Athens and New York marathons, funding race numbers for the Marseille-Cassis marathon in 2026, and supporting promotional materials for the project.
