ICAB is running a programme in Guinea to provide access to drinking water in the Kankan region. The project relies on solar-powered boreholes and water towers. This infrastructure is designed to provide a sustainable water supply to local communities that are not connected to the mains network.
Our support
Between 2023 and 2025, the FDD provided phased funding for the construction of thirteen solar-powered boreholes and six water towers in the Kankan region, from the project’s launch through to the settlement of the final balance.
