Cœur de Gazelles: 1,000 trees planted in the Ouarzazate region

Target achieved

Cœur de Gazelles’ Green Day 2025 had set an ambitious target: to plant 1,000 trees in the Ouarzazate region before the end of the year. This has now been achieved.

Comprehensive support

Funding from Demain (€6,000) covers:

• the purchase of the trees,
• the drip irrigation system,
• the equipment needed to maintain the saplings for the first two years.

Biodiversity at the heart of the project

The species planted are local — olive, almond and fig trees — to preserve the ecosystem and provide a sustainable income for partner farmers.
